Day 9: Morning
I had a hard time with today's theme. Morning. You could say I am a morning person, I guess. I am awake at the earliest hours of the new day before anybody else is. The town is silent, there are no cars on the streets, and the sun is just barely peeking out over the buildings. There is one catch- I am just getting ready to go to bed at this time.
I am a night owl, through and through. There is something about midnight that is a magical hour for me- my mind turns on and the ideas start running rampant through my brain. My most productive hours are usually around midnight to 5:00 a.m. whether I am working on sewing, drawing, painting, or planning projects; my best ideas and work come out then.
My original plan was to take a picture of me working at this time, but the thing is, I become really absorbed in whatever I am doing and I totally forgot. Sooo, I thought I would share my "morning" routine:
Sit in front of computer in a comatose state.
Stare at computer blankly.
Open up messages, emails, etc.
Still stare blankly.
Pick out outfit.
Check messages again and actually understand them.
Browse Craftser's newest posts.
Chang outfit again.
Dance with the cat to Meat Loaf.
Finally answer emails/messages/etc. and get the day started.
(Change outfit one more time before leaving.)
That is my morning for ya'! This can be anywhere from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. This picture is from my macbook at about 2:00. :) I know- that's late. But I seize the night and it takes over me and this is as early as it gets for me to wake up!
One of the first things I saw this morning was Amber's post and I totally rocked the hair tutorial she shared. It is awesome! Check it out and try it!
