New Friend in the House

Hi everybody! I am feeling loads better today. Still not at 100%, but still, SO MUCH BETTER. Today, I have something to show you that is not craft related, but still fits into the Halloween theme.

As most of you know, we lost our beloved Pigwidgeon kitten in August. I have been holding on to hope since then that she would make her way home or somebody would call. But it seems like she is gone. My hope is that she is somewhere safe and happy. I miss her so much and I am still so heartbroken.

However, yesterday my photographer had posted a picture of kittens that somebody had left on her husbands work doorstep. They were desperately looking for somebody to adopt them, because the shelters here are full and the only option they had were to put them down if nobody took them. I could not let that happen, and before I knew it, I was driving out to the country to pick one out.

Right now, she is very skinny and gangly and downright funny-looking! Which makes me love her even more. I plan to fatten her up and get her healthy and playful.

I will admit though, I cried a great deal last night, because having her made me miss Pigwidgeon so much, but I know over time I will learn to love this kitten just as much. I am looking forward to getting to know her personality. We would like to name her something Halloween-ish so any suggestions are welcome!

She's adorable! Sorry about Pigwidgeon. This little kitty will do a lot to help heal that place in your heart.

I suggest Jinx for a spooky cat name!

How about Spook? She's super cute. If I wasn't allergic to cats I'd have to have a black one too.

How about Shadow or Spirit? Keep her inside until she is almost full grown so that when she goes outside she has a fighting chance with other animals.

The problem with Pigwidgeon wasn't her size or age. The neighbors said they saw somebody take her. She was too cute for her own good. :(

You should name her Agatha. ^_^ Aggie for short. And I'm sorry someone took Pigwidgeon. I can't believe how heartless and rude people are!

She is super cute with those blue eyes. I think you should name her Wednesday Adams! or JiJi after the little black kitty from KiKi's delivery service if your into those movies :D Not Halloween(y) but still fun!

She is beautiful! So sorry to hear about Pigwidgeon. A few name suggestions:

1- Shock (as in Lock, Shock & Barrel from Nightmare Before Christmas)
2- Winnie (one of the witches from Hocus Pocus)
3- Spector (which is like a ghost)
4- Hazel (popular name for witches in stories)
5- Goblin (hehe)
6- Boo!
